 PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Marcom team is using expertise, creativity, innovation and analysis to drive growth for the OTT Hydromet Group. We continuously challenge ourselves to learn and apply the most effective ways to engage our customers, drive sales of our products and services, and encourage long-term customer loyalty. The primary purpose of this position is to develop, coordinate and execute long-term Campaigns that build our brands and drive sales of our products and services. Reporting to the Global Vice President of Marketing, the Regional MarCom Manager ensures that customer-facing marketing communication is consistent with corporate strategies, product messaging, and corporate brand standards. The MarCom Manager collaborates with a group of talented team members to implement and continuously improve results through Campaign strategies, tactics and analyses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with Vertical Marketers, Product Managers, the Central Digital Marketing Team, and Sales Teams, develops and executes Campaigns, including product launches, customer-facing programs and materials, advertising, email, direct mail, PR, web content, social media, national and regional trade shows, etc.
  • Grow customer contact database.
  • Manage leads process including lead generation, qualification, distribution, tracking and ROI analysis. Develop and execute lead nurturing and loyalty programs.
  • Consistently monitor the ongoing success of Marketing activities based on clear metrics, making adjustments to optimize results.  Responsible for achieving traceable revenues/results
  • Manage projects and vendor relationships with outside agencies, designers, developers, and marketing counterparts with sister companies and/or corporate Danaher teams.
  • Work with distributors and direct sales force in CALA to support their efforts.
  • Document and keep up-to-date brand standards including style guide and visual brand language.
  • Enter and track budget and expenses, including monitoring and submitting invoices for approval and payment.
  • Manage and develop team. Lead essential programs and innovation projects that support learning and experimentation across Marketing and the organization.
  • Coordinate the translation process for marketing material leveraged across geographies. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets is desired.
  • A minimum of five years experience in marketing, PR, and/or advertising required.
  • Experience launching products required.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required. Degree in marketing, advertising, communications is preferable.
  • Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Marketing Automation Tools (i.e.Marketo, Kapost), WordPress, Visio and Illustrator desired.
  • Familiarity with using SalesForce.com or other CRM tools, including the creation and running of reports, as well as utilizing tools like Chatter and Content Libraries
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal, listening and oral communications skills.

SMT Assembler I

This position is with Sutron’s R&D department. Sutron designs sensors, data recorders, communications devices and supporting equipment to measure the environment. Our products are used to measure the climate and water resources around the world. The R&D department has need of talented electrical engineers to help design these important products. The primary emphasis of this position is to assist in the design and testing of the circuitry and software that goes into our products.

  • Emphasis in one or more of the following areas: sensors, instrumentation, A/D, RF, DSP, UWB, communications, control systems, PCB design, automated test, embedded design.

EMBEDDED HARDWARE & SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Qualifications

PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER

Qualifications

  • Education: ET or BSEE
  • Good understanding of Basic Electronics and electronic test equipment.
  • Experience with test and troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
  • Basic Computer skills including being able to work with office software and PC hardware such as serial ports, modems, test programs
  • Experience with one or more of the following: VB, JAVA, C, C++, Labview, etc. programming

WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER (HYDRAULICS)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS or Masters Degree in Water Resources Engineering or Hydraulics
  • PE in Florida is not required but highly desirable.
  • Experience with flow measurement using Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) is required.

Additionally, we are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Flow and Stage Data Analysis (Rating Curve Analysis & Development)
  • Knowledge of USGS Standards of Flow Measurements

  • BS Electrical Engineering
  • Legal proof of right to work permanently in the US required
  • Research, develop, design, implement and test electronic components and products, including component systems.
  • Full Time – Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, No overtime
  • Work in Sterling, VA, and occasionally work sites all over the world. Travel as needed.
