    The sensor can be used to measure total solar radiation or in defined wavelength bands. It features
    • Circular multi-junction Eppley wire-wound thermopile capable of withstanding severe mechanical vibration and shock
    • Receiver coated with Parson’s black lacquer (non-wavelengthselectiveabsorption)
    • Pair of removable precision ground and polished hemispheres of Schott optical glass
    • Both inner and outer hemispheres of clear WG295 glass, uniformly transparent to energy between about 285 and 2800 millimicrons
    • Includes a spirit level, adjustable leveling screws, and a desiccator which can be readily inspected
    • Cast bronze body with a white enameled guard disc
    • Schott optical glass for the outer hemisphere alsoavailable in GG395 (clear), GG495 (yellow), OG530 (orange), RG630 (red), and RG695 (dark red)
    • Other Schott glasses and Infrasil II quartz hemispheres available
    • Calibration certificate traceable to the World Radiation Reference included with conversion factors for various energy units
