This position is with Sutron’s R&D department. Sutron designs sensors, data recorders, communications devices and supporting equipment to measure the environment. Our products are used to measure the climate and water resources around the world.
The R&D department has need of talented engineers with expertise in DSP to help design these important products. The primary emphasis of this position is to incorporate DSP hardware and software into the design of Sutron products.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- BS/MS EE or equivalent
- Demonstrated proficiency with DSP for range detection, velocity measurements from ultrasonic and/or radar signals.
- Proficient in Matlab programming, digital filtering concepts
- Experience with TMS320C55x or similar low power DSPs
- Self-starter and able to work in teams and individually.
- Fluent in English
