• BS or Masters Degree in Water Resources Engineering or Hydraulics
• PE in Florida is not required but highly desirable.
• Experience with flow measurement using Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) is required.
• Additionally, we are looking for experience in the following areas:
  
  
  • Flow and Stage Data Analysis (Rating Curve Analysis & Development)
  • Knowledge of USGS Standards of Flow Measurements
  • Field experience with Hydro-Meteorological Data Collection
  • Knowledge of Hydraulics and Fluid Measurement Theory
  • Use of Statistical Tools for Data Analysis
  • Programming Experience and Knowledge of General Programming Tools are a plus (Visual Basic, C/c++, Matlab, Mathematica etc…)
  • Knowledge of GIS Software
  • Knowledge of Java Programming are a plus.
  • Water Balance Analysis
  • QA/QC of Hydrologic/Hydraulic Data
  • Being able to work independently
